The center mainly has research and development department, intelligence training department, production test factory, Beijingjinmeitian(additive) technology development limited company, training building management department and administrative department. In addition, the National Meat and Food Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, the Beijing Food Quality Supervision and Inspection Third Station, the National Grade A Construction Project Environmental Impact Assessment Center, the Asia Pacific Meat Science and Technology Training Center, and the Beijing Special Flying(Certification) Technology Development Center are also linked or established.
The China Meat Food Comprehensive Research Center takes "technology leading, economic self-reliance, credibility first" as its own requirement, and "production oriented, national oriented, consumer oriented" as its service purpose. The center has a strong technical force. Among the more than 150 existing employees, science and technology personnel with middle and senior technical titles account for more than one-third. Since its establishment in 1986, the China Meat Food Comprehensive Research Center has achieved 81 scientific research achievements, of which 36 have won national, ministerial and municipal scientific research progress awards and 5 have received national patents; It has developed nearly 200 new products for meat, poultry and fish, more than 100 kinds of meat additives, and dozens of pieces of meat processing machinery and equipment, and has successively promoted new products and new technologies to more than 1,000 manufacturers across the country. It has trained nearly 7,000 meat processing technicians, managers and science and technology officials from across the country and the world, edited and published more than 10 kinds of meat science and technology books, and held nine National meat processing technology and machinery and equipment fairs. In the three years since the establishment of the engineering center, scientists and technicians have completed the research and development of seven engineering projects in the fields of meat processing technology, equipment, preservation technology, additives, and sewage treatment, and have gradually promoted them to the industry. These efforts have not only greatly promoted the scientific and technological progress of the meat processing industry in China and contributed to the enrichment of the meat product market in China, but also played a positive role in promoting the development of the meat processing industry in third world countries. At present, the center has become one of the most well-set and most technical meat research institutions in Asia.
At present, the center is being transformed into a science and technology enterprise in accordance with the requirements of the national reform of scientific research institutes. After the conversion, we will continue to "become a technology development center for the meat processing industry" as a goal.
